Privacy policy.
How ipixx collects, uses and protects personal information, and the rights you have.
Version 1.0 · Effective
Who we are
This policy explains how ipixx (“ipixx”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through ipixx.ai and in providing our services. We are responsible for that information.
Our services are Optimus, a managed monthly website and content subscription, and ipixx Workroom, custom-scoped managed marketing delivered under a written scope or agreement.
What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, a topic, your message and, if you choose one, a plan. We only receive what you type and send.
When you become a client
To deliver a service we collect business contact details, account and billing details, and the materials, approvals and messages you share with us while we work together.
Payments are handled on the ipixx platform by our payment processor, Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe. They never pass through or are stored on this website.
Technical information
Like any website, our servers and hosting provider receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions and to protect the site from abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss whether our services fit.
- To provide, bill for and support the services you buy.
- To manage our relationship with you, including service updates you need to know about.
- To keep the site and our services secure, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not put the values you type into the contact form into analytics, and this site runs no analytics.
Legal bases (UK and EEA)
If UK or EU data protection law applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:
- Steps at your request before a contract, and performance of a contract, when you ask about or buy a service.
- Our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, running and securing our business, and keeping records. We balance these against your rights.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
- Consent, where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form inquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless the inquiry leads to a client relationship.
Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and afterward for as long as we need them to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes.
IP addresses used to limit form submissions are held in memory only for the short time the limit applies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
ipixx and many of our service providers operate in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information will be processed there and possibly in other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Have your information deleted.
- Object to or restrict some processing, or withdraw consent.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, and residents of other US states with privacy laws have similar rights. We will not discriminate against you for using them.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
How to make a request
Use the contact form and choose “Not sure yet” as the topic. Tell us what your request is about and we will reply to the email address you give us.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. You can use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version and effective date at the top of the page change when we do. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell affected clients directly.
